I’d like to publicly thank my Mom for adorning my wee head with the Florida hat you see above. Of special note: the brightly colored dots and the three-dimensional palm trees stretching upward toward the sun.
Fortunately, the hat did bring compassion from strapping older gentlemen, like my brother’s friend Lawrence. So, not a complete loss.
